Main Deliverables

  • Update marketing strategy for company wide activity during this contracted period

  • Work with CoDa’s Executive Producer to plan, create and deliver content across digital marketing outlets, adhere to company tone, develop company’s visual aesthetic, and grow the company’s digital audiences

  • Collaborate with partner organisation Marketing and Engagement teams to engage audiences local to Thurrock and South East Essex 

  • Promote CoDa’s artistic, participatory and research activity via the company’s digital marketing outlets

  • Have weekly meeting with CoDa’s Executive Producer to problem solve and sign off content prior to release 

  • Agree and adhere to sign off deadlines and content release dates 2-4 weeks in advance of publishing

  • Create marketing content schedules for social media, newsletters, individual giving campaigns, website updates, and other necessary marketing activity

  • Design, create and deliver regular social media content across CoDa’s channels, including copy, images, graphics, gifs and video

  • Develop a set of reusable assets for social media content design in CoDa’s Canva account

  • Write content for social media, newsletters and other digital marketing outlets to disseminate general company information and paid promotion campaigns

  • Schedule social media content across platforms using Meta Business Suite

  • Deliver Stories and Reels (live and scheduled)

  • Design, write and schedule facebook advertising via promoted posts

  • Promote attendance to public facing arts activity for audiences local to Thurrock and South East Essex

  • Design, create and deliver regular newsletter content, targeted at CoDa’s mailing list and partner contacts, including copy, layout and image editing

  • Design, create and deliver individual giving fundraising campaigns as necessary, from concept through to delivery

  • Update website content as necessary

  • Lead on ideating, designing, writing and delivering other promotional campaigns

  • Monitor and report on CoDa’s online audience growth, reach and engagement in line with Arts Council England reporting requirements

  • Based on data analysis, advise the company on how best to tailor content, tone, assets and target campaigns to achieve the most impact

  • Grow audiences and deepen engagement across all platforms

  • To complete staff monitoring and evaluation forms as required.

 

Experience & Skills Required

  • Expertise in content creation and digital marketing management for arts or cultural organisations 

  • Demonstrable experience in managing digital marketing for companies with multiple strands of delivery

  • Demonstrable experience of engaging audiences across a variety of channels and platforms

  • Demonstrable experience of conceiving and implementing effective multi-channel digital marketing campaigns, including paid promotions

  • Demonstrable experience in content production / commissioning, incl creating slick, consistent, effective, attractive, and professional asset design

  • Demonstrable experience with photography, videography, copywriting, digital publishing and generating traffic

  • Experience of fundraising marketing activity

  • Proficient in using remote working tools such as Google Suite (incl Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc), Asana, Slack

  • Ability to tailor communications to different groups, incl non-arts audiences

  • Brand awareness : CoDa positioning, competitor positioning

  • Excellent research, organisational, and time management skills

  • Experienced, confident communicator, able to speak on behalf of colleagues and organisation

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders

  • Highly developed audience and market awareness

  • Enthusiasm for staying informed on emerging digital and wider marketing trends.
