The Role – The company is looking at expanding the Media Crew with further Videographers to film, edit and produce daily videos, documentaries, montages and commercials for our international clients and events. The Media Crew is made up of a number of committed individuals who work hard and play hard – not for the faint hearted but working in some of the most exciting water based locations across the UK and internationally.
Experience and Skills
• Proven verbal/written communication skills • Basic level of project management skills • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and turn productions around quickly yet maintain a high level of quality - one-person crew operations (video/sound) will be required on most occasions • Fluency in motion graphics, animation, sound and video editing software, this includes: - Field editing – strong NLE (Non Linear Editing) skills necessary in both field and office work. • Extensive working knowledge of digital video cameras and equipment, this includes: - Working on the water – stabilising equipment is required and the Media Crew uses either the Ronin gimbal or the Kenyon Gyro stabilizer - Final Cut and other Non-Liner Systems - Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effect, Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Suite programs is a requirement - Complete understanding of digital cameras and shooting techniques • Can work independently and react quickly to challenging situations - due to the complexity of the action sports, training will be given with directorial format and guidance • Resourcefulness and organisation are essential • A passion for video and technology in general • A strong interest in sailing, surfing or paddling is an advantage but not essential
Requirements • Eligibility to work in the UK • Full English language capabilities • Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, under tight deadlines pressure • Must be willing to travel on short notice when necessary to cover events internationally • Must have a valid passport • As all of the Media Crew work on and off the water it would be a requisite to be able to swim. Personal flotation devices and applicable company uniform and clothing will be supplied
