MICROPUBS - THE NEW LOCAL is the first feature length documentary about the rise of a the micropub. With now over 300 micropubs and counting in the UK, the movement has brought communities back together, inspired micropubcrawls and there's even a micropub guide for enthusiasts! A micropub mainly serves cask ales, promotes conversation & shuns all forms of electronic entertainment. These single room pubs, no bigger than your living room, usually only hold a handful of people and focusing on community. Keep It Small, Keep It Simple.
