What is ‘Home’? How do you define ‘home’? Home is a personal project involving real connections of memory, sights and sounds. This animation portrays everything that the word ‘home’ means to me. Home isn’t just the place that you come from, or where you grew up in, it’s a lot more. It’s a feeling. It's complete happiness.
I used real life voices from real footage from my family and friend gatherings for some of the scenes to really give the effect of me/us being home again. I recorded the sound of the ocean from my trips and recreated scenes from real life in an animation style. I hope everyone can find a way to relate to this.
So when someone asks me where is home, I’d like to say home is where I am most happy.
So thank you to all my loved ones. Believe it or not, you contributed in helping me making this video with all the memories and love we share. Thank you for being a part of my life. Because of you I have something to call home.
