Description
We're looking for a Hair & Makeup Artist in ID, WA or MT for our Indie Feature Film 'Sunshine Girl'. We're shooting from 29th April to 30th May in Post Falls, ID and Spokane, WA - however, artist does NOT need to be available for all those dates. Bald cap is only needed for 7 dates.
Sunshine Girl is based on the true story of Tina Maclachlan. A woman who courageously faces every battle that comes her way with an unwavering faith that touches the lives of everyone she knows.
The film follows her through three stages of her life, childhood, as a teenager, and finally as an adult. At 13, Tina develops Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma but overcomes it and recovers fully. However, at 44, Tina is then diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer which ultimately takes her life. The film is written by Tina’s husband, award-winning writer Craig Maclachlan, and has picked up some traction around the Pacific Northwest. 50% of all profits will also be split between two cancer charities close to our hearts.
Because we see both young & adult Tina pre-cancer & then during, we’re looking to find an SFX makeup artist with bald cap experience.
The rates are flexible with travel, food & accommodation included. We have a fantastic team onboard including DoP Kody Newton and we're hoping to create something really special together.
