We have the exciting opportunity to join our imaginative and innovative Creative team as Image Retouch Manager. During your first year in the role, you will have the opportunity to work across all global Katie Loxton and Joma Jewellery brands to gain a clear understanding of how our dynamic business functions, you will then take full responsibility for one brand long term.

As Image Retouch Manager, you will support and manage the Image Retouch team to deliver product and lifestyle image on time for our global Joma Jewellery and Katie Loxton brands. You work closely with the Art Director, Creative Project Manager and Design Leads to ensure that all assets align to creative briefs and brand guidelines. 

You will make an impact by ensuring the smooth running and management of the retouch team, making sure all deadlines are met and imagery is produced at an outstanding standard.

You will be able to predominantly work remotely in this position. On average, you will be required to work from our Head Office in Banbury twice a month on average, this may flex up dependent on business needs.

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE  

• Providing consistent meticulous retouching of product, model, and lifestyle images ability to colour correct, crop and cut-out when required, within short timeframes, without compromising quality when needed 
• Bringing innovation and best practice to the team and constantly generating new ideas and process to facilitate smoothing workflow 
• Working closely with the Creative Project Manager and Art Director to manage teams’ capacity, flagging any time constraints prior to the project and working with them to outsource to freelance where necessary 
• Managing a bank of freelance Retouchers 
• Ensuring effective time management; feeding back any problematic images to ensure delivery dates are met, checking in regularly with team members to ensure that team projects are moving to deadline and producing best in class imagery 
• Working collaboratively with the design and content team to ensure that all design activities align to their project roadmap and deliverables 
• Leading on managing the Dropbox database of images, ensuring it is kept up to date and clearly labelled at all times 
• Taking final responsibility for the accuracy and quality of our digital design assets including final colour approval on all product imagery 
• Managing the upkeep of retouch KL guidelines and train the team where changes or new additions are made 
• Managing, coaching, and developing a talented Retouch team to achieve departmental goals and deadlines 
• Handling escalations from the team, use expert knowledge to rectify any issues that may arise 

THE TALENT YOU'LL BRING  

• Proven experience retouching product photography 
• Previous experience in people management 
• Previous experience working within a digital photographic studio. 
• Meticulous attention to detail 
• Receptiveness to guidance and feedback 
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is essential. 
• Strong brand awareness 
• Interest in fashion 
• Positive & inspiring team player 
• Confident communicator 
• Enjoys working in fast paced dynamic environment. 
• Ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.
