PFG is a food service and FMCG distribution business, based out of a 80,000 SQ/Ft modern distribution facility in the heart of Stoke On Trent, and is looking for a Digital Content Creator to support the Group Marketing Team, We’re a leading Food Distribution company that employ’s exceptional people to serve our 4000 Strong customer base, and we want to tell the world about our Organisation, Our People, Our Suppliers and Partners, Our CSR Initiatives and our Customer Satisfaction.
We are looking for someone to join our small, multi-functional marketing team and help with digital content creation & acquisition. The successful candidate will have experience in content generation especially around social media, strong writing skills and a creative flair. They will be able to conduct research and interviews to capture great case studies, identify and share great promotional stories from our customers, colleagues, and suppliers, learn more about current trends and sector developments. A willingness to learn, basic photography and videography and travel to capture content is preferred. We are looking for a charismatic and talented content creator/videographer & photographer to join our dynamic in house marketing team. Your primary responsibility is to produce, develop and execute a content strategy that engages and informs our target audiences about the PFG & Group brands and Service offerings, across various social media platforms and CRM systems.
You will be a talented all-rounder who is enthusiastic and capable of dealing with multiple projects at any one time, you will be visiting our various PFG Groups depots, Customers and Suppliers regularly. You will work as a part of our marketing and creative team to ensure that there is the perfect balance between beautifully designed captured images and videos.
As a Digital Content Creator, you will:
Work closely with our Digital and Social Media manager as well as supporting wider marketing team to:
Generate and create content, Pictures, Images, Stories, Videos, Short Clips/ Reels.
Manage and develop content.
Liaise with internal stake holders to improve upon, chase and develop final content.
Work closely with other departments to craft content requests.
Direct and capture short video and photographic content.
Support wider marketing team with proofreading content.
Analyse the latest trends and content patterns on TikTok, Insta, FB, and LinkedIn
Working closely with Social Media officer and Manager of social media on high-level strategy for TikTok. You Tube etc.
Targeting content to TikTok, You Tube, and Insta audiences and focus on trending topics.
Managing TikTok, You Tube, and Insta, calendar, scaling posting, and remaining consistent to drive results.
Maximising engagement and growth, constantly evaluating performance, benchmarking against competitor content, and pivoting strategy in response to these data indicators.
Keeping a close eye on the TikTok creator landscape, bring in fresh ideas for talent and content.
Light copywriting for captions. Deep knowledge of hashtag and engagement strategy.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Enthusiasm and excitement about engaging with social media audience.
Passionate about delivering memorable experiences to customers through the creation of content.
An active and engaging public social media presence.
Desire to be part of a tight-knit team looking to transform the traditional retail experience.
Creating and curating content that resonates with our target audience, such as images, videos, graphics, and blog posts, while ensuring consistency with the PFG Group brand message.
· Researching industry trends and consumer behaviour to generate ideas for fresh, relevant, and timely content that will drive engagement.
· Collaborating with the marketing and design teams to ensure that all content is on-brand and consistent with PFG Group messaging and visual identity.
· Analysing social media metrics and using data-driven insights to optimize content performance and identify areas for improvement.
· Staying up to date with emerging social media trends and best practices and recommending new strategies to keep the company ahead of the curve.
· Aid the marketing team in day-to-day publishing on social media.
· Leverage audience insights, personas, keyword research, messaging themes, competitive information, and analytics to develop engaging content for email, web, social, digital campaigns, video, etc. that supports sales and marketing initiatives.
Track social media engagement and results with weekly/monthly social media reports.
Support photography shoots and editing for use internally and externally.
The Experience
The successful candidate will ideally have:
· A degree qualification – preferably in a related area e.g., social media. marketing etc
· Excellent communication skills
· Someone can think ahead.
· Put together plans for events such as - open days, Christmas etc.
· Can shoot amazing content on an IPHONE, Professional Camera, Drone.
· Have a thorough understanding of current trends on TIK TOK, INSTA, FB etc.
Excellent knowledge of all social media platforms
· Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator & Premier Pro
· Ability to manage & organise own workload and think creatively.
