Job Title: Communications and Marketing Coordinator (Maternity Cover)
Term : 5 month fixed-term maternity cover
Salary: £23,500 – £25,750 pro rata (£14,100 – £15,450 actual), dependent on experience
Hours: 21.6 hours per week (over 3 or 4 days TBC)
The Role:
We are seeking a Communications and Marketing Coordinator to play a key role in supporting Citizens Advice Barnet to help more people to find a way forward from very difficult situations through free and confidential advice.
You will implement a creative and impactful programme of communication activities to key audiences, including our clients, donors, partners, community groups, the media, and our team of staff and volunteers. You’ll relish inspiring people to take action to support our work through well-crafted web, social media, e-newsletter and marketing content.
Your copywriting and storytelling skills will raise our profile and income generation as a local, independent charity. We have an established history of helping those most in need in our community and support around 10,000 people a year experiencing complex problems with debt, work, benefits, housing and more. You will help us raise awareness of our campaigning work to tackle poverty, challenge discrimination, and get access to justice for all.
You will have:
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to grow strong relationships with a wide range of people and to act as an external ambassador for Citizens Advice Barnet
Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills
Attention to detail and proofreading skills
Knowledge of accessible and inclusive communications
