Reports to: Campaigns Coordinator 

Based: Battersea Park

Salary: £20,000 (FTE £40,000) a year

Contract: Permanent, Part Time (20 hours)

 

Role Overview

  • Reporting to the Campaigns Co-ordinator, the Graphic Design will work across many of Enable’s interesting, unique and varied service areas. This will include live events like Battersea Park Fireworks and year-round events, through to promoting Putney School of Art and Design and our Leisure sites, as well as working across B2B charitable community and health and wellbeing projects. 
  • The role will be responsible for artwork and campaign collateral across our varied service areas, two and a half days a week.  
  • This is the perfect role for a flexible Graphic Designer, who is looking for part-time contracted work and across a variety of products and brands in a diverse, fast-paced organisation.  
  • We are looking for a creative and imaginative graphic designer, with a strong eye for detail and a deep understanding of working within brand guidelines at the same time as creating fresh and exciting collateral.  
  • This is an excellent opportunity to join Enable’s growing Marketing and Communication team who report into the Head of Commercial. No two days are same, and you will gain valuable hands-on experience with room for growth and the chance to see tangible output in the not-for-profit sector. The Marketing and Communication team is a small and supportive team, with a high output and flexible and collaborative approach to work.   

 

Job Purpose

 

  • Collaborate closely with our marketing team to craft and maintain a brand identity that resonates with our target audience across services 
  • Conceptualise and design compelling marketing materials, including brochures, banners, and social media graphics, onsite imagery and marketing collateral ensuring alignment with established brand guidelines 
  • Create multiple visual assets: high quality images, illustrations, gifs, custom graphics and typography that align with the brand's overall image 
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and graphic design best practices, bringing a constant influx of fresh and innovative ideas to the team 
  • Demonstrate autonomy and teamwork by effectively managing individual projects and collaborating with the marketing team to meet deadlines, adhere to budget constraints, and strategically schedule project implementations. This may involve handling three or more simultaneous projects 
  • Any relevant duties as directed by the Campaign Co-ordinator or Head of Commercial
  • 2+ years of experience in a Graphic Design position. Ideally within the non-profit, events or hospitality sector 
  • Have a strong portfolio showcasing diverse design projects. Good personal creative direction and the ability to be versatile and adapt to a variety of styles, evidence of this in portfolio is essential 
  • Exhibit proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and more 
  • Display a solid understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory. 
  • Possess organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
  • Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills crucial for effective teamwork. 
  • Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software are highly valued
