Mascot Performer in Leicester
We have two fantastic mascots / children’s book characters who attend schools. We need performers who are confident in wearing the costume, friendly and interactive with small groups of young children in a classroom or assembly hall setting. Neither of the mascots require you to speak but communication is encouraged through movement, actions and presence. Each mascot will present a positive and friendly atmosphere for children.
Key Duties
Dress in a head to toe costume (supplied)
Interact with children of primary school ages
Attend events at schools across Leicester and Leicestershire
Essential Requirements
A successful DBS Check
Be confident whilst in costume
Fit and willing to be enthusiastic whilst in costume
Previous experience (desired)
Please note - Preferences will be given to those based in Leicester, and who can drive due to the requirements of this position.
