Main Duties
We are looking for a Creative Video Editor/Producer to help our business grow. This is a chance to join a fast-growing, exciting start-up at an early stage, working with major TV shows, Content owners and Creators.
Responsibilities
Manage the delivery of Gaggl TV shows from beginning to end. This includes:
Editorial selection of TV shows to broadcast. This will be based on the key criteria that it can be made into an interactive, play-along format with a Creator-hosting it that appeals to a Gen Z Twitch audience.
Identify and select the best episodes and moments within those shows.
Suggest how interactive elements could work, and then script them.
Plan and edit the shows. Build in the interactive elements, remove any ad breaks, copywrite relevant text in overlays, make sure the interactive pauses and moments work well.
Build the episode in the Gaggl platform.
Project manage the delivery of the show to the end format.
Then turn this into social media output. Watch the streams of the show you’ve edited, recognise funny moments, edit them into social-friendly formats and then post.
Examples
Show examples include classic game shows, scripted dramas, reality, panel shows and movies.
Interactive elements are where the audience plays along. These are either part of the show (eg playing along to a game show) or bonus breaks (additional quiz questions, how closely were you watching, what happens next).
See the Gaggl highlights reel here, and a full show here (starts at ~52 mins).
