Drawing Down the Moon is the UK’s premier matchmaking and personal introductions agency, established in 1984. Over the past four decades, we have successfully introduced tens of thousands of clients and are now seeking an aspiring freelance copywriter to join our growing team.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Freelance Copywriter, you will be responsible for producing engaging and creative content for our blog, newsletters, and other marketing materials. Your primary duties will include:

• Researching and writing compelling blog posts on topics related to dating, relationships, and personal growth

• Drafting engaging email newsletters to communicate with our client base

• Collaborating with the marketing team to conceptualise and deliver impactful copy for promotional campaigns

• Staying up-to-date on industry trends and incorporating them into your writing

• Ensuring all content adheres to the company’s brand voice and style guidelines

Required Skills and Experience:

• Interest in the dating/lifestyle industry

• Excellent written communication skills with a flair for crafting compelling, persuasive copy

• Strong research and analytical skills to identify relevant topics and trends

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal oversight

• Writing background or education is a plus – Ideally majoring in Creative Writing/English literature/Journalism/Communications and Media
