Manchester, UK
Filmmakers / Directors / Cinematographers wanted to collaborate with singer-songwriter Minute Taker on a series of 80s-inspired music videos for a live performance at Prism Festival at Waterside, Greater Manchester.
Job Description
The films will be projected outdoors at night, using projection mapping for Prism Festival 2024 at Waterside, accompanied by a live performance from Minute Taker. Prism is a new, ambitious festival in Sale Town Centre using music, projection, light and performance to create magical and thought-provoking experiences for all. The films may also be used as standalone music videos for Minute Taker's upcoming album.
Minute Taker is heavily inspired by 80s music and film and is looking to collaborate with filmmakers who are interested in exploring and recreating aesthetics from the era. Think moody, atmospheric films like Blade Runner, and Ultravox's 'Vienna' video.
The intention is to digitally manipulate newly filmed content so we're looking for artists to get involved in both sides of that process.
Job Requirements
The project has been funded and the fee is negotiable, based on level of involvement.
The project will be filmed in late September-November 2024 in the Manchester area, so some availability during that period is required (days / times flexible at this stage).
If interested, please send information about your exact skills as well as your previous experience with links to relevant previous work.
