Call for Short Films to be Screened at Ibanasca Festival 2024
Ibanasca Festival is an arts festival happening from the 9th-14th of October in Honda, Colombia. This year's theme is Women and Wisdom (Mujeres y Saberes) and it includes street art, live music, talks, workshops, art exhibitions, visual art, conferences and screenings. It highlights the role of women in art in every version and this year we are thrilled to be part of the Circular Culture programme this 2024 run by the British Council! Lon-art Creative will be the UK partner supporting the Ibanasca Festival in Honda, Colombia.
This year, as Sheroes, our counterparts in Latin America have the sheroic cause of supporting women* artists while celebrating women through visual arts. We would like to invite women filmmakers from the UK to send their short films to be exhibited at the Ibanasca festival. We are looking for works that explore stories that delve into the richness of the creative and art world, gender, equality, traditions and generational exchange and how culture defines us.
About the Short Film call out:
Lon-art will be taking part in the Ibanasca Festival, presenting two short films by two women* filmmakers based in the UK and who will be interested in projecting their films in Honda, Colombia during the festival and in the UK, post festival.
Dates and place:
The short films will be shown during the festival on 9th-14th of October in Honda, Tolima, Colombia and post festival in London (place and date TBC).
Travelling is NOT required.
Reward:
£200 per short film, to be shown twice.

There is no production date limit: Short films produced in any year are accepted. Maximum duration: 25 minutes.
