About the Role

We’re looking for a talented and versatile middleweight designer to join our SE London studio on a 3–4 month fixed-term freelance contract, starting in late November 2025. There is the potential to extend the term.

You’ll be working predominantly on one of our key clients, helping to deliver a range of brand and comms materials across print, digital, and environmental applications. You’ll also have the opportunity to lend your skills to other client projects as needed — working closely with our creative director to bring ideas to life.

About You

You’re a confident, adaptable designer with a strong eye for detail and a solid understanding of brand and communication design. You’re equally comfortable developing concepts as you are delivering finished artwork, and you know how to move smoothly between print, screen, and spatial projects.

You’re proactive and self-motivated, but also thrive in a collaborative studio environment. You’re comfortable speaking with clients — whether that’s presenting work, taking feedback, or clarifying project requirements — and you take pride in clear, thoughtful communication.

What You’ll Bring

• 3–4 years’ experience working in a design studio or similar creative environment
• A strong, well-presented portfolio showing work across brand identity, print, digital, and environmental design
• Excellent typographic, layout, and visual design skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications and familiarity with digital design tools and/or moving image software
• Experience preparing artwork for print and production
• A collaborative attitude and confidence communicating with clients and colleagues
• Strong organisational skills and an ability to manage time and priorities under tight deadlines

Contract Details

• Start date: Late November 2025
• Duration: 3–4 months
• Location: Studio-based in SE London (some flexibility, working from home and client office if required)
• Rate: Competitive, depending on experience
