Saatchi Gallery are looking for a Social Media Executive/Content Creator to help shape how Saatchi Gallery is experienced across social platforms. This is a fixed term role, initially for 3 months but with the possibility of being extended up to 6 months.
The role is a part-time office-based position based at the Gallery in Chelsea, London. The Gallery is looking to employ the successful candidate for 24 or 32 hours each week (3 or 4 days of 8 hour shifts). The fixed term contract will specify and guarantee the hours to be worked each week ahead of commencement.
The annual full-time gross salary for the position, to be paid pro-rata, will be between £27,000 and £30,000 meaning the gross rate per hour will be between £12.98 and £14.42 per hour, depending on the experience and potential of the successful candidate.

You will play an important role in creating and sharing content that reflects the Gallery's exhibitions, artists and values, helping to grow and engage our global audience. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will contribute ideas, plan content and ensure our channels remain fresh, relevant and visually compelling. This is a role with real responsibility, offering exposure to a high-profile cultural institution followed by millions.
You will support the planning, creation and delivery of content across Saatchi Gallery's social media channels, from concept through to publishing. Working within the Communications team, you will create engaging media and manage day-to-day posting and ensure that our content is always consistent, timely and aligned with the Gallery's voice and values.
Job Requirements
Skills and experience required
Experience creating and managing social media content for brands, organisations or projects
Practical skills in filming and editing short-form video for social platforms, with an understanding of how content should be adapted for different channels.
Experience using creative software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator or similar tools
A good understanding of major social media platforms and their audiences with awareness of emerging trends and formats.
Excellent written communication skills
Highly organised, with good time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
Comfortable working within a structured approval process
A collaborative and proactive approach
Strong attention to detail and respect for brand, tone of voice and visual consistency.
A genuine interest in contemporary art & culture
Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience.
Job Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include
Creating, filming and editing high-quality social media content across Saatchi Gallery's platforms
Adding graphic and motion elements to content where appropriate
Managing the day-to-day scheduling and publishing of content, ensuring all posts are reviewed and pre-approved
Working closely with the Head of Communications and wider teams to translate exhibitions, events and other projects into engaging digital stories.
Supporting the delivery of agreed social media plans and campaigns, contributing ideas while working to clear briefs and priorities.
Tracking content performance and contributing to regular reporting
Supporting the creation and distribution of wider digital and communications assets where required
Working collaboratively and flexibly within a small team, supporting colleagues and contributing to the wider communications activity of the Gallery as needed.
