Job Description
We are looking for a digital artist with experience of working with young people aged 11-15 years old, to produce content around the theme of Smoking Cessation. The product will be used on various platforms, for example, short bursts on social media, and a longer version to be hosted on a smoking cessation website and to tour around schools. The artist will be lead creator, collaborating with young people either from secondary schools or Youth Groups. This could be a film, animation, podcast or other mixed digital media.
The fee will be £3150 for 8 days' work. (£350 per day or £200 per part day). This includes the young people sessions (schools and youth groups, editing and prep days).
Job Requirements
- Delivery must begin before 31 March and may run between February and April 2026.
Fee- £200 per 2/3 hr session or £350 per day which includes prep time.
We may be able to purchase some materials and equipment so please include in your proposal
DBS check and PLI up to £5 million are required
Job Responsibilities
To work with selected young people in schools and youth groups or the library, aged 11-15 years, to produce digital content around the theme of smoking cessation.
To create engaging sessions suitable for 11-15 year old age group to help them share their stories or produce digital content.
To edit any content created into a format suitable for library exhibition platforms.
The end product could be film, animation, podcast or other mixed digital media.
Provide information for referral to Stop Smoking services
Provide any necessary evaluation for the project
