'The Sherwood Forester'
I have always had a passion for Steam Trains since I was very young, and now is my chance to show this through my photography.
I heard about this steam train (45231 'The Sherwood Forester') that will be going to London, would be stopping at Tring to take on water. I decided to go there and photograph this train at the station whilst it was taking on water - and for the grand exit as it leaves.
The grand exit, having been given the road to leave Tring to head south. A vintage diesel locomotive was on the rear.
