My brief for this piece was a character from a film recreated in our own personal way. I chose the little mermaid but took inspiration from the Hans Christian Anderson version. I used large pixie ears to over exaggerate the mystical mermaid elements, added a bald cap and pieces I had made and painted to look like sea foam, the reason for this relates to the end of the story where the little mermaid jumps into the sea and turns into sea foam. All pieces were applied by me and the foam made painted and applied by me.
