House of India Starr is an exciting cabaret & burlesque company offering performance workshops, cabaret events as well as colourful laser-cut fan staves for sale! With several different avenues / services already incorporated into the business, I was contacted by director, “India Starr” to redesign their old logo to be more versatile, have a more high-class appeal and to better represent the company as a whole.
Working with the director, I was able to establish which visual elements she needed to incorporate into the logo. Each aspect of the crest-style icon was then planned out and hand drawn before finally, rendering it digitally. Paired with an art deco inspired font, the final logo offers great brand versatility in that both the text and the icon can be used as separate, eye-catching elements.
