‘Jason Kofi-Haye - Showreel’
Artist Jason Kofi-Haye created “Project 5am” in 2007, stimulated by a peak experience during that exact moment in time and the Allen Ginsberg poem ‘Five am’. It was under this banner where Kofi-Haye started to produce a series of interdisciplinary art works. Projects include the electronic album ‘Quixotes of Moons Fight The Windmills of Brixton’ and the experimental short film ‘Some kind of wonderful’ which was one of the films chosen for the Danish film auteur Lars Von Trier community project ‘Gesamt’ at the 2012 Copenhagen Art Festival. Project 5am music has featured on award wining documentaries, web shows, internationally renowned independent radio stations WFMU, Radio Scorpio and Soma FM. In 2014 Kofi-Haye created a new project titled ‘Flux Without Pause‘ which he has given presentations at SOAS and the University of Edinburgh that explored the notion of chaos via artworks in the “third space” as the key for transformation. In 2015 Kofi-Haye was one of the recipients of the Jerwood Charitable Foundation program where he worked in a Digital role at the Live art organization Pacitti Company which included creating visual articles on artist books and Alternative Ipswich Walking Tour sound maps for the 2016 SPILL festival. His latest project Surf/ace間 is the first documentation of a curating over a decades work of epiphanies, ideas and actions.
