Job Description

•Ensure the quality of files is consistently high, and is accurate with regards to audio fidelity, timing, and other finer guidelines that need to be followed for the format.

• Creating English files, as well as correcting all errors while proofing a file and ensuring the file is checked against reference materials related to the project, conforms to department guidelines and/or client specifications, and the final product is consistent and error-free.

• Footnoting cultural references and expressions as an aid to translators.

• Performing audio fidelity quality checks (ensuring subtitles match the audio).

• Be well-versed with different English accents like British, U.S., Australian.

• Manipulating English files using proprietary software, including preparing scripts and running conversions between format.
