Mirage of Resilience
This project draws inspiration from “Dune” and the quiet vastness of the desert both harsh and luminous. I was captivated by how something so dry and unforgiving can still shimmer under the sun, and that contrast became the heart of my makeup and hair concept.
I handcrafted the eye piece as a symbol of vision and survival, representing perception shaped by environment both armour and oracle. The glass skin technique mirrors the glistening shine of sand in intense heat, creating a luminous, almost elemental glow like a desert mirage.
At its core, this project reflects the belief that beauty can rise from severity that even in barren landscapes, resilience leaves behind its own radiant shine.
