Barricades in the wild
Starting in 2012, the Hambach Forest occupation settlements have slowed the expansion of the Tagebau Hambach coal mine for the last five years. With 17 tree houses and about 50 activists, the movement is specialised in avoiding eviction tactics from the authorities.
