Defending the Stronghold
Nested in a lush Surrey forest of Leith Hill, a small group of activists built a defending camp in October 2016 to prevent unconventional oil drilling commissioned by the fracking industry. After registering several losses in the region, they are now determined to turn this site into a symbol of the fight against the destruction of the last pristine ecosystems of England.
