Freelancer Club was invited to Graduate Fashion Week to meet the next generation of freelance fashionistas. We brought a camera with us to find out how students, freelancers, and producers go about finding work at fashion shows and London Fashion Week.
Since restrictions were lifted in June, lots of our members have found themselves busier than ever with freelance projects and it’s been heartening to see positive reviews popping up on our members' profiles from clients who were really happy with their work.
Each week, Freelancer Club members use the collaboration tool to post their own collaborations and to apply to work on other members' test shoots. This corner of our platform is a hive of creativity and we love catching up with our members after they’ve completed their projects.
We love writing pieces that feature our creative members. They give our Freelancer Club community the opportunity to gain valuable insights and learnings which no doubt inspire them to progress and develop their own careers. This week, we’re profiling a talented and versatile photographer named Marcello Simeone whose work spans across portrait, fashion, beauty and branded content.
While our new membership structure offers a more rounded experience for freelancers, helping them develop their portfolios, learn new skills and meet other freelancers in addition to landing paid jobs, we’re always delighted when we hear about members and clients who’ve had a positive experience working together after connecting on our platform.
Feel like freshening up your makeup portfolio, hair stylist portfolio or modeling portfolio as we head into a new season? Want to work with other creatives and try out new skills you’ve learned over lockdown?
Want to know how to build a photography portfolio? How to build a modelling portfolio? How to make a makeup artist portfolio? Test shoot, test shoot, test shoot.
I want to become a freelance fashion stylist. I want to become a freelance photographer. I want to learn how to become a successful freelance makeup artist.
